So Close For Change In Time

At Ascot on Saturday Chance In Time was one of the fancied runners for the feature race of the day, the $60,000 Country Challenge final. The horse likes to be settled at the rear, so William Pike was always going to have difficulty, with 15 runners in the field. Chance In Time was still 14th at the corner, when William started his run. He miraculously weaved his was through the field, but he just failed to catch the winner Dee Picked, who won by a fast-diminishing neck.

Chance In Time continues to race well this prep, and will no doubt be back in the winner’s circle shortly.
